The installation process of these fans in homes is fairly easy. They are easily available and are wall mountable. Let’s take a look at the various steps involved in installation.- The first step in the installation process is to determine the exact location where the fan needs to go on the wall. This is important as the position determines the effectiveness of the ventilation provided. If you prefer to install the fan on the ceiling, more arrangements need to be made in terms of a gap for the exact size of the fan.
- Next, you need to consider if you would be willing to get a duct system installed as well. If not, the fan needs to go on an exterior wall. The best way to expose of harmful gases and contaminated air is through ducts that carry the air directly out of the house.
- The wall of the house needs to be capable of bearing the weight of the explosion proof ventilation fan. If that seems unlikely, then wooden slabs or bars can be used to provide enough support to the fan.
- Cut a hole in the wall to the exact size of the fan.
- The fan now needs to be installed in the hole by fitting it in and screwing it tightly to the frame in the wall.
- After installing the explosion proof ventilation fan, the wiring needs to be completed. High quality wiring and switch need to be used, and connected to the power supply. Run a few tests to check the efficiency of the system and its safety, before you can start using it.
